Aeronautics Competitiveness

The EU promotes the competitiveness of the aeronautical sector in many ways, promoting research and innovation, creating a coherent legislative framework and an economic environment conducive to the development of the aeronautical industry.

The environmental challenge has also become an opportunity for the aeronautical industry to set itself ambitious objectives which can constitute opportunities for competitiveness on a global level.

It is not excluded that the Commission could favor the creation of a zero-emission aviation Alliance.​.
