Cooperation in the field of taxation (FISCALIS)
The Fiscalis programme focuses on improving the proper functioning of the internal market's taxation systems by helping participating countries, their tax authorities and their officials to work together in the fight against tax fraud, tax evasion and aggressive tax planning.

Objectives
Fiscalis also helps to protect the financial interests of Member States and honest taxpayers. It allows the relevant authorities to implement EU law in the field of taxation by ensuring exchange of information, supporting administrative cooperation and helping to reduce the administrative burden of tax authorities and compliance costs for taxpayers when needed.
Eligible entities
Eligible entities for grants are public authorities (from EU Member States or associated third countries), research and educational institutes, non-profit-making entities and any legal entity created under EU law or any international organisation.
Programme

The European Commission is responsible for the implementation of the programme. It is assisted by the Fiscalis programme committee composed of delegates from each EU Member State.
All actions under the programme have to be in line with the objectives and priorities outlined in the programme regulation and the resulting multi-annual Work Programme.
