The current Creative Europe Programme 2014-2020 will end this year.
Next year, a New 2021 - 2027 Creative Europe Programme will start. The European Institutions are still negotiating the EC legislative proposal.  The Culture strand of the next multiannual Programme could have these priorities (read here).

Cooperation projects

The aim is to supports transnational cooperation projects involving cultural and creative organisations from different countries taking part in the programme.

Literary translation


​Promotion of the transnational circulation of literature and its diversity in Europe and beyond and to expand the readership of quality translated books.

European Platform

Grants to organisations showcasing and promoting European creators and artists, emerging talent, through a genuine Europe-wide programming. They have to join together within a platform with a view to helping to improve the audience development techniques.

European network

Support of a limited number of networks with a broad coverage across a balanced range of sectors. They should reinforce the cultural and creative sectors' capacity to operate transnationally and internationally.

Prizes and other actions

In order to increase the visibility of Europe's culture and audiovisual sectors, the European Commission supports a variety of actions, initiatives, and prizes. These are designed to reward achievement, highlight excellence, and raise awareness of Europe's culture and heritage.
