Europe and Space

The EU and other European countries are engaged in space with both scientific and industrial activities.

  1. The scientific activities are foreseen by Horizon Europe framework programme for 2021-2027, Cluster "Digital, Industry and Space".
  2. EU also supports european space industry and related scientific activities through the European Space Programme 2021-2027, for Earth observation, satellite navigation, connectivity, space research and innovation. This programme brings together stakeholders and contributes to the emergence of a European 'new space' ecosystem.
