The EU–India Free Trade Agreement can materially change the commercial conditions for companies trading between India and the European Union.
But lower tariffs alone do not create market access.
Businesses must also understand product classification, tariff staging, rules of origin, customs evidence, technical regulation, product compliance and the timing of legal implementation.
EUINTA brings these elements together in one continuously updated eDossier.
Summary
The eDossier explains the negotiated tariff concessions, the two tariff schedules, the rules of origin, customs requirements and the legal route from signature to entry into force.
It also examines the regulatory conditions that continue to apply independently of tariff reductions.
For Indian exporters, this includes EU product requirements, technical regulation, sustainability measures, customs procedures and market-access obligations.
For European exporters, EUINTA explains the corresponding Indian tariff reductions, regulatory requirements, product approvals and market-entry considerations.
The objective is not simply to describe the Agreement, but to help companies understand what must be checked before a commercial opportunity can actually be used.
