Abstract
All actions for support, coordination, direction and funding of EU activities in the MEDIA sector are part of the Creative Europe Program which also includes the CULTURE sub-program.
The program is managed by EACEA, the European Union Executive Agency for Training, Audiovisual and Culture, established in 2013. It is based in Brussels and operates with delegated powers and under the supervision of four Commission Directorates General European: DG-EAC, DG-CONNECT, DG-HOME and DG-ECHO.
The activities in the MEDIA sector are defined by multi-year programs and financial frameworks lasting 7 years and each decided by an EU Regulation, a legislative act issued by the EU Parliament and Council.
