- A priority action of DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs is COSME (the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). It provides two dedicated financial instruments that target companies in different phases of their lifecycle: creation, expansion, and business transfer.
- Horizon Europe 2021-2027. the EU's EUR 95.5 billion research and innovation funding programme, also supports industry competitiveness through the development of new materials, manufacturing technologies, and ICT; and by financing close-to-market actions via a specific SME instrument.
