Nuclear energy
In 2019, the energy mix of the Europe of 27 counted on approximately 13% of energy production from nuclear via fissile. The EU has a long tradition of using the atom for energy production, although this sector has not expanded further.
The EU has always been very advanced in terms of reactor safety and throughout the life cycle of nuclear fuel.
