Recycled Plastic materials
Rules are set-up with Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
After these materials have been used, they do not comply anymore to the plastic Regulation, as they may have been contaminated with other substances.
Therefore, a separate Regulation exists to control the recycling processes: Commission Regulation (EC) No 282/2008 on recycled plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foods
